MediAc is an medical acronym buster app!
If you work in, or use, healthcare you will come across abbreviations and acronyms
The free version will give you approximately 500 entries consisting of the most commonly used acronyms, abbreviations and medical terms.
The plus version will give you over 2000 entries AND gives you regular updates

I'm Xanthe and have over 35 years experience working in education, veterinary and healthcare
I spent a year working in a busy GP surgery in Cambridge and then moved to work at Addenbrooke's, one of the largest and most well known teaching hospitals in the country
Throughout my career I have been involved in training in the workplace, sat on different charities at local, county, regional and national levels and have written articles for national publications
Working in healthcare I immediately became aware of the abundancy of acronyms & abbreviations with the need to quickly understand and use them
